What is Huddlr?
Huddlr is a free group planning app. You start a plan, invite your friends, and Huddlr works out the times that suit everyone from their usual availability. The group votes on times and places, the organiser locks it in, and everyone gets reminders. It can also split the costs afterwards.
Is Huddlr free?
Yes. Huddlr is free to use. A free account can run up to three active groups, and you can join as many plans as you like.
Do my friends need an account or the app to join a plan?
No. Anyone you invite, or anyone with the plan's share link, can join as a guest with just their name and an email or mobile number. Guests can add their times, vote, chat and settle up. If they create an account later, their plans come with them.
How does Huddlr find a time that works?
Everyone sets their usual free times once. Every plan starts from those, so likely times appear before anyone has replied. People confirm or adjust their times for a plan, and Huddlr ranks the windows where the most people are free. The group then votes yes, maybe or no on the best options.
Can Huddlr help choose where to go?
Yes. Huddlr suggests venues near the group, based on what people like, dietary needs and budget, and on how easy each place is for everyone to get to. You can also browse a map of places and add any of them to a plan for the group to vote on.
How does splitting costs work?
Anyone with an account can add an expense to a plan, such as dinner, an Airbnb or tickets. Split it equally, between some people, by shares, by percentage or by exact amounts. Huddlr works out who owes whom in as few payments as possible. You can copy someone's PayID or bank details to pay them, then mark it as paid.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
The iPhone and Android apps are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. In the meantime, Huddlr works in any browser at app.huddlr.io, on your phone or your computer.
Who can see my availability and payment details?
People on a plan see when you're free and busy for that plan, as times only. If you connect a calendar in future, event names and details are never shared. Your PayID or bank details are only shown to someone Huddlr is telling to pay you back.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Me, then Delete account. On the web, go to your profile and choose Delete account. You can also email support@huddlr.io from the address on your account and ask us to delete it.
