Privacy policy

Last updated 25 October 2026

This policy explains how Huddlr ("Huddlr", "we", "us") handles your personal information when you use the Huddlr website, web app and mobile apps (together, "Huddlr"). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

How we use it

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

Who can see what

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run Huddlr, who only use your information to provide their service to us:

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information, except shared costs on plans (shown as "Deleted user" so balances still add up), and anything we need to keep by law or to resolve disputes. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.

Your choices and rights

Children

Huddlr isn't intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls to protect your information. No service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it to yourself.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.

Contact and complaints

Email support@huddlr.io with any privacy question or complaint, and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
